Helping the Homeless – August Service Project

An important principle of our Catholic faith is to serve God by helping others. Students of Holy Trinity Catholic School are focusing each month of this school year on doing small things with great love. The first service project assisted Mr. Ricky Molsbee and his Homeless Ministry Outreach with a collection for the homeless in the Diocese of Biloxi area. During the month of August, students brought in items, such as small medical kits, toiletries, bottled water, gallon Ziploc bags, non-perishable food items and prayer cards. Several 5th and 6th graders, members of our school Leadership Club (pictured), assisted with sorting and loading of the items. Holy Trinity Catholic School is an elementary school located in Bay St. Louis serving children in grades Pre-K1 through 6th grade.
