6th Grade Welcomes a Visitor from Vietnam

Our 6th graders were honored to welcome Mrs. Trang Pham Bui, who shared her family’s journey escaping Vietnam in 1975, and eventually settling on the Gulf Coast. Her story connected with students’ recent reading of Escape from Saigon and brought powerful lessons of courage, faith, and hope to life.
2nd Grade Learns About the Weather

Second graders visited with Meteorologist, Sam Lucey of WXXV, to learn why the weather is important, and how to give a forecast. After a question and answer period, students were able to imitate being a meteorologist in the classroom!
Pre-K3 Learns About Groundhog Day!

The groundhog saw its shadow, which means six more weeks of cold weather, but we were feeling warm and fuzzy in our class after making adorable groundhog edible crafts!
March for Life

Our students participated in a local March for Life led by the Knights of Columbus. We were joined by students from Our Lady Academy and St. Stanislaus, parents, and members of our community as we marched for every woman and child. All life is precious.

The theme of this year’s Christmas tree is “Teach me Your way, O Lord,” – Psalm 86:11. The ornaments were symbols to represent parables from the Bible. Fall Festival
HTCS Ambassadors: October Service

HTCS Ambassadors delivered candy that was collected during the month of October for our friends at Dunbar Village Nursing Home, as well as assisted the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary with making cakes for our Fall Festival cake walk.
